Regular attendance is expected of all students at all classes. In general, the responsibilities for meeting this obligation rests with the students. It is the prerogative of the Instructor to determine when the student's standing in any course is being adversely affected by absence. It is the student's responsibility to notify the instructor of any justifiable reason that causes an absence from class.
The term consists of three to four months depending on the time of the year E.g.
SEPTEMBER - DECEMBER
JANUARY - EASTER
EASTER - SEPTEMBER
*Easter being the Sunday that the holiday falls on for that year
Regular class attendance is essential for students to learn, practice and master the skill needed to prepare for their careers. Students are expected to be punctual and in attendance for every class unless they provide written evidence of illness or an emergency. The programme Director and the Administrator will counsel students who accrue two or more absences in any one class.
Students who are excluded from a class due to excessive absenteeism will be required to retake the class at a later date and will remain fully responsible for all tuition and fees associated with the class from which the student has been excluded.
