BUILDING & LOCATION

IBC is located on Prince Charles Drive East and is situated on the second floor in the Plaza del Sol

building, next to Shell Service Station, opposite Doris Johnson Senior High School.

 

RECOGNITION

Institute of Business and Commerce is a private Institution which was established in 1991 and is registered with Ministry of Education and The National Accreditation and Equivalency Council of the Bahamas (NAECOB). The Institute is the first institution in the Bahamas to offer the Law Degree, Paralegal Studies and Associate Degree. IBC is also a teaching Institute for the LLB (Law Degree) programme.

PRIVATE TUTORING

Students requiring additional assistance or who may be weak in certain subject areas may enroll for

private tutoring in basic or advanced courses. Individual tutoring is scheduled at a time which is

convenient to both Teacher and student.

EMERGENCY/HEALTHCARE

A medical Doctor is assigned to the Institute in case of Emergency or ill health.

 

STUDENT POPULATION

The Institute is open to both Bahamians and Non-Bahamians.  Foreign students must first obtain permission from the Department of Immigration before enrolling at the Institute.
